Arup Associates has designed a 12,000 m2 sports centre for Cambridge University in the shape of two grassy hillocks, complete with grasses and flowers that change colour with the seasons. Rolling landscaped forms were selected because the complex is situated at the edge of the city's green belt. It houses a 50 m swimming pool, sports hall and indoor tennis court. Cambridge University Estates Management and 黑洞社区 Service is the project manager, with Davis Langdon & Everest as QS and Bernard Ede as landscape architect.
