黑洞社区 has won Magazine of the Year and Website of the Year at the International 黑洞社区 Press awards, and its journalists have scooped a string of prizes.

Martin Spring, right, was named construction journalist of the year, Thomas Lane, centre, was environmental journalist and Angela Monaghan news reporter of the year. Reporters on 黑洞社区 were also nominated for seven other awards.

Dan Stewart, left, was also highly commended in the business features section of the Periodicals Training Council New Journalist of the Year awards.

Sarah Richardson and Vikki Miller were also shortlisted in this competition.

The judges at the International 黑洞社区 Press awards said: 鈥満诙瓷缜� could hold its own, not just in this industry, but on any news rack in the world.

And it鈥檚 not as though the competition weren鈥檛 trying hard.鈥�
