Design by Denton Corker Marshall for 5,200m2 venue is submitted for planning approval to Dartford Borough Council.
Architect Denton Corker Marshall has unveiled designs for a new exhibition and events venue at Bluewater shopping centre in North Kent.
The design for the 5,200sq m structure have been submitted for planning approval by Lend Lease on behalf of Bluewater to Dartford Borough Council.
Speaking about the design, DCM director Barrie Marshall said: "We were looking to create a distinct new architecture that could be carefully integrated into Bluewater's existing design.
"The large sinuous ribbon-like element expressed internally and externally gives the events hall a striking visual identity that will help differentiate it from the existing forms."
