Contenders for this year鈥檚 awards revealed today

Big name contractors, architects, consultants and projects have made the shortlist for this year鈥檚 黑洞社区 Awards, announced today. 

Projects that made the list range from the redevelopment of court one at Wimbledon to Foster + Partners鈥� Comcast Technology Centre in Philadelphia.

ISG, Wates and Robertson have been shortlisted for the Major Contractor of the Year, over 拢300m, category, while Aecom, Core Five, Mott MacDonald, RLB, Turner & Townsend and last year鈥檚 winner Alinea have all made the cut for the Consultant of the Year, more than 100 staff.

A number of firms have multiple nominations this year, including Aecom, Turner & Townsend, and Gilbert-Ash.

A new addition for 2020 is the Proud to Help campaign, which was created to recognise the outstanding efforts of the construction industry to help support the response to the covid-19 pandemic. 

Other categories include the CEO of the Year award and the Female Leadership Award.

The awards will take place virtually on 3 November.
