Two ºÚ¶´ÉçÇø journalists triumphed at the International ºÚ¶´ÉçÇø Awards last week

Assistant editor Joey Gardiner won housing/residential journalist of the year during the awards ceremony at Imperial College, London.

The judges said Gardiner had an excellent writing style that was easy to read and informative; he also showed a strong understanding of the subject. His interview with Graham Cherry, discussing the impact of his late father Alan on their company, Countryside, illustrated this point.

Stephen Kennett, ºÚ¶´ÉçÇø’s former technology editor, won the construction journalist of the year. The judges were impressed by his ability to cover a wide range of topics and his skill in turning what could have been dry, technical material into an informative and accessible read.

The IBP Awards annually celebrate the best writers in the property and construction sectors from a wide range of specialist titles and national press.
