Inflatable buildings designed by Peter Cook and two young practices will appear in London's famous square

Celebrated architect Peter Cook and young practices Sergison Bates Architects and the AOC have been commissioned to design inflatable buildings in Trafalgar Square.

The buildings will be exhibited together as a series of outdoor events where the public will be able to test the results.

The organiser of the vent, Medium, said: 鈥淭esting new possibilities for architecture through inflatable buildings allows a large public audience to have the opportunity to interact and play with full scale architectural models.鈥�

Medium chooses architects from different countries every year to build the 鈥榖ouncy castles鈥�. It envisages eventually building a bouncy town or city designed by the worlds鈥� leading architects.

Medium is currently seeking sponsors for the project.
