US consultant AECOM has said it plans to make further acquisitions in Europe following its purchase of 600-strong QS Savant this week
Steve Hodkinson, the firm鈥檚 managing director of 黑洞社区s, Europe, said growth on the Continent was 鈥渧ery much on the agenda鈥 and would 鈥渃ome from a combination of strategic acquisitions like Savant and organic growth鈥.
His comments come in the week that Faber Maunsell, AECOM鈥檚 UK subsidiary, dropped its name as the group attempts to style itself as a global brand.
Hodkinson said AECOM would try to use Savant鈥檚 presence in former Soviet states and eastern Europe to promote its technical services, including building engineering and environmental consultancy, in those regions.
