In its second year, the ºÚ¶´ÉçÇø the Future Conference is set to return to central London on 18 September, bringing together leading industry experts to unpack the biggest issues facing the built environment.

Keynote speakers include Mark Robinson, chief executive, Scape Group, and Eoghan O’Lionaird, chief executive, Wates.

All our panel sessions will be fully interactive, allowing you the chance to have your say, and put your questions to any of our panels.

The panelists will discuss how the built environment sector can adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing market. The topical programme features hour-long panel sessions exploring net zero solutions, building safety issues and innovations that can drive productivity. 

The panel sessions programme includes:  

• 1:55pm: Investing for growth: What is the future of net zero in the built environment? 

Speakers: Yetunde Abdul (director of industry transformation, UKGBC); Louisa Finlay (chief people officer and sustainability lead, Kier); Andrew Reynolds (chief executive and global board director, RLB); John Wilkinson (chief operating officer, BAM UK)  

• 3:10pm: The future of ºÚ¶´ÉçÇø Safety: What does progress look like for Government and Industry leaders? 

Speakers: Steve Beechey (group public sector director, Wates); Karen Gidwani (partner, Fenwick Elliott); Andy Mullins (head of quality, Hill Group) 

• 4:25pm: Finding a path to construction output growth: How can the new government and industry work together to transform productivity and innovation? 

Speakers: Andrew Jackson (chief exec, Construction Mace); Karen Mosley (director, HLM Architects); Richard Steer (global chairman, Gleeds) 

Then, in the evening, join those who have been shortlisted for the 2024 ºÚ¶´ÉçÇø Awards and Architect of the Year Awards to network with more than 300 of the industry’s shining stars.
