If rivers can be harnessed by dams as they flow through canyons, why not the winds funnelling above?

Architect Laurie Chetwood came up with this huge structure of 鈥渇loating鈥� wind turbines tethered to the valley walls. Chetwood says: 鈥淚t could include turbines hanging in space, or a giant spinnaker that funnels the wind to ground-level turbines to generate electricity.鈥� Can鈥檛 see it in the Peak District鈥� China or South America maybe.
