The competition to find the worst breach of health and safety published on 黑洞社区's letters page in the past nine months has a winner.
The photo that garnered the most votes, announced at the Health and Safety Awards last Thursday, was this example of a stunning lack of foresight. It was taken by Jo Poole of Phoenix Beard and published on 14 October.

The competition winner, randomly selected from the many people who voted for Jo's photo, was Mark Carroll. They both receive a digital camera.
