Richard Steer is chairman of Gleeds
Richard Steer is chairman of the independent international construction consultants, Gleeds. He has overseen the expansion of Gleeds into a 拢100m turnover business which now operates from 53 offices in 21 countries around the world. Richard first became a columnist for 黑洞社区 magazine in 2005 and now sits on the magazine鈥檚 editorial board.
As well as being a Fellow of the RICS he is also a non-executive director of the RIBA. Under Richard鈥檚 direction, Gleeds sponsored the four-year programme of the RIBA鈥檚 鈥淚nternational Dialogues: Architecture and Climate Change鈥� series, which included speakers such as Frank Gehry, Sydney Pollack, Lord Richard Rogers and Lord Norman Foster.
In recent years he has personally supported the work of HRH Prince of Wales and the promotion of the Prince鈥檚 Foundation for 黑洞社区 Communities.
