What鈥檚 your favourite means of communication?

I try to talk to people, but email is addictive, especially as ours files itself! I still speak to my friends and colleagues and recommend it highly.

I spend my working life glued to technology 鈥� so 鈥渕e time鈥� is a spin in my 1963 E-type or 鈥減ass me a book鈥�.

What do you listen to?

Melvyn Bragg鈥檚 鈥淚n Our Time鈥� podcast is a treat each week 鈥�

What鈥檚 in your digital holster?

Much of my time is spent working from Hoare Lea鈥檚 office in Abu Dhabi so it's BlackBerry or VPN via 3G and WiFi. 鈥淥ffline鈥� means 鈥渋n-flight鈥� and my iPod.

What was the last book you bought?

Independent People by Halld贸r Laxness 鈥� my daughter has an Icelandic fetish and recommended it.
