According to The Daily Telegraph, 拢191,000 has been spent on air-conditioning for the speaker鈥檚 dwelling at the Palace of Westminster.

I struggle daily to take into account 黑洞社区 Regulations (Part L, for example), environmental issues and all the rest of the legal and politically correct requirements that corrupt the building design process in the UK in 2008. How and why has this sum been spent on a single dwelling to 鈥渃ondition鈥 the air within it? And why should I bother in future, given the position of the speaker in the House of Commons, his relationship with the law makers and the whims and fancies of those who design and maintain government buildings at public expense? Save the planet? I shan鈥檛 bother.
