The ECA has launched ECA Bid, an online auction site where electrical contractors can buy and sell goods

The items on sale will be primarily electrotechnical, but will also include vehicles, office and safety equipment.

Fees for selling on ECA Bid are around 15% lower than other popular online auction websites. As a special promotion there will be no charge for listing an item for the first three months following the launch.

Steve Bratt, ECA chief operating officer, said: 鈥淚nstigated by our members, ECA Bid will provide a useful resource not only for them but for firms throughout the electrical industry.
