James Anderson has been appointed head of strategic and sustainability services at consultant AMEC.

Based at AMEC鈥檚 Weybridge office he will be responsible for developing business across areas such as sustainable planning, green procurement and corporate governance, through to tackling global climate change issues for major corporations and strategic asset management.

Recent projects have seen James work on the assessment of national policy statements covering sustainability and environmental issues for the development of nuclear in the UK and assist with the development of the UK Climate Change Bill and the Carbon Reduction Commitment.

He joins AMEC from Montgomery Watson, where he was strategic advisory and sustainability director.
