Ian Simpson Architects has won an RIBA competition to design a 拢5m National Wildflower Centre in Knowsley, Merseyside
The architect鈥檚 submission envisages a compact conference centre inspired by the shape of a wild flower head. Landlife, the client, has aspirations to make the building achieve an 鈥渙utstanding鈥� BREEAM rating. Simpson鈥檚 team includes engineers Adams Kara Taylor and Hoare Lea and cost consultant Cyril Sweett.
