Lawyer Rupert Choat talks to 黑洞社区鈥檚 legal editor Chloe McCulloch about this week鈥檚 judgment in the High Court fight between Multiplex and Cleveland Bridge over Wembley Stadium

In a hearing at the Royal Courts of Justice on Monday this week Mr Justice Jackson ruled that the Wembley Stadium steel work contractor Cleveland Bridge (CBUK) owed developer Multiplex 拢6,154,246.79 in damages for breach of contract, overpayments and interest.

The judge also found that CBUK should pay 20% of the legal costs that Multiplex had accrued since the summer of 2006. This could amount to about 拢2m.

In addition the parties have spent 拢22m in legal and expert fees during the four-year row.
