Resource features cut-down guidance as part of government ‘war on red tape’
The government has published its slimmed down national planning guidance online.
The resource consolidates all the government’s planning guidance in one place and has been cut down as part of the government’s “war on red tape”.
A trial launch period started on Wednesday and will run for six weeks, with feedback invited. None of the current planning practice guidance will be cancelled until the final online guidance is in place later in the autumn.
Planning minister Nick Boles (pictured) said: “Having stripped away outdated advice, our new user-friendly website brings together a simplified set of clear, concise guidance and publishes it in one place.”
The new website, below, should become available shortly.
