Architect working on Renzo Piano’s Cube building
A number of high-profile corporate jobs helped architect TP Bennett push up turnover for the year to the end of March 2018 by 2% to a record £29.7m.
The London and Manchester-based firm also revealed its profit after tax rose by 3% year-on-year to £8.1m.
Projects throughout 2018 included the Porter ºÚ¶´ÉçÇø (pictured) in Slough, the first office in the UK to achieve a WELL ºÚ¶´ÉçÇø Gold Standard certification, and a 1,200-student bedroom scheme called Garden Halls in the Bloomsbury area of central London.
The 300-strong firm has also collaborated with Renzo Piano on developer Sellar’s £825m mixed-use development at 1 Paddington, also known as the ‘Cube’.
TP Bennett said work for corporate occupiers remained strong, with completed projects for CBRE in Manchester and TfL in London.
