This is the first image of the square that will mark the entrance to O2, the former Millennium Dome, designed by architect Barr Gazetas and landscape architect Whitelaw Turkington.

Peninsula Square, which is equivalent in size to Leicester Square, will include a longitude line to mark the 0掳 meridian, as well as a 45m steel spire, a 5m high 鈥済reen鈥� wall and an exhibition space. The square will open later this month.
