His design for the Olympic site may be a long way off, but artist Anish Kapoor鈥檚 latest project in Middlesbrough is taking shape

The massive rings that form the structure of the 拢2.7m Temenos will be lifted into place next week, ready for the completion of the sculpture in late spring. Temenos is the first of the Tees Valley Giants 鈥� the world鈥檚 biggest public art project. The Giants will eventually comprise five works of art across the Tees Valley by Kapoor and his long-term collaborator, structural designer Cecil Balmond. The total cost will be 拢15m.
