Fletcher Priest-designed building scheduled to complete in autumn 2013 with work to begin immediately
Skanska has been appointed to a 拢50m tower development in the City of London.
The 16-storey building, designed by Fletcher Priest, is scheduled for completion in autumn 2013, and work will start immediately on behalf of client Bevis Marks Development.
Skanska has assembled an in-house team to cover construction, service installations, piling and foundations and utilities.
The development will include retail areas, a basement, basement mezzanine, ground floor and 15 upper floors totaling 22,000m2.
The scheme will be constructed to a BREEAM 鈥渆xcellent鈥� rating, and Skanska plans to incorporate features including combined heat and power generation, rainwater harvesting systems, energy saving lighting systems and condensing boilers.
