Hermes appoint Skanska for 拢68m design and build contract

Skanska has won a 拢68m contract to design and build an eight-floor office development in the City of London.

Skanska has been appointed by client Hermes Real Estate on the 21,000 sq m building at 20 Gresham Street.

The contractor will also carry out the M&E work on the building.

The project team includes Kohn Pederson Fox (architect), City Offices (development manager), Waterman Partnership (structural ) and Hilson Moran (services engineer).

Work will begin on site immediately and completion is due in September 2008.
