A red-orange rubber floor from Artigo has been fitted at the Art Institute of Chicago’s Modern Wing, designed by the Renzo Piano ºÚ¶´ÉçÇø Workshop
The 2,300m2 floor was specified in part because of Artigo’s ability to match the custom colour required by the architects. It is claimed the Multifloor product, laid in a thickness of 3mm, is durable, requires little maintenance and provides good acoustic insulation.
It also meets the California Indoor Air Quality Programme requirements for volatile organic compound emissions and provides a surface
which reduces maintenance.
