Latest contract wins with Oxfordshire and Knowsley councils boosts Mouchel Parkman鈥檚 order book by 拢60m.

Support Services Group Mouchel Parkman has increased its order book by at least 拢60m thanks to contract wins with Oxfordshire County Council and Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council.

The Group was named preferred bidder for a 拢35m seven-year property services contract with Oxfordshire County Council, which could be extended to ten years. The 拢2.5m a-year property and highway services contract with Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council is for a ten-year period, and could be extended to 20 years. Both contracts are due to commence on 1 April 2005.

Chief executive Richard Cuthbert said: 鈥淲e are delighted to have secured these contract which serve to confirm Mouchel Parkman鈥檚 position as a leading provider of professional managed services to local government.鈥

The contracts follow other recent wins totalling 拢24m. These include a three-year extension of the existing five-year highways consultancy contract with Wokingham District Council; a three-year highways contract (extendable to five) with the London Borough of Richmond; and contracts for an initial five-year period (extendable to 15 years) for highways management and street lighting with Westminster City Council.
