Industry favours Livingstone for mayor as real ballot puts Johnson in lead
Ken Livingstone has beaten Boris Johnson with 49.3 per cent of the vote compare to the Tory candidate's 41.5 per cent.
This is not the eagerly awaited result of the London mayoral election but the ڶ website poll. Despite taking a narrow lead yesterday it now seems that ڶ readers favour the incumbent mayor to run the London for the next four years.
In real life Johnson appears to be leading. With 27 per cent of the votes counted he is ahead in nine of the 14 electoral areas.
The ڶ website poll puts Liberal Democrat candidate Brian Paddick at 5.6 per cent and the Green’s Sian Berry at 3.5 per cent.
