...whilst Israel issues tender for West Bank construction
French contractor Vinci has won two contracts in Vietnam worth a combined £60.3m.
The larger contract is a 33,000 square metres, five-storey headquarters building for Vietnam's national television broadcaster in Hanoi. The 28-month scheme is valued at £35.2m.
The second contract is for a thermal plant based in southern Vietnam, which will take 26 months to build.
Meanwhile, the Israeli government has issued a tender in the country's newspapers for the construction of 228 homes in the West bank settlements. Israeli-Palestinian conflict experts say that this is in violation of the US's road map peace plan. Palestinian negotiators have criticised the proposal, which would see construction take place just a few kilometres from Jerusalem.
