The UK embassy in Warsaw, designed by Tony Fretton Architects, opened last Friday, a day before the designer鈥檚 Fuglsang Kunstmuseum in Denmark lost out on the Stirling prize

The practice won the embassy job six years ago, but its design had to be reappraised after the bombing of the British Consulate in Istanbul led to tightened security measures.
