Consultant鈥檚 JV is construction manager on the extension of subway line

Hill International has received a 拢13m ($21.1m) amendment to its contract with the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority. The consultant鈥檚 Hill International/LiRo/HDR joint venture is to provide construction management services for the extension of the No.7 Subway Line in New York City.

D. Clarke Pile, Hill鈥檚 senior vice president and Northeast regional manager, said: 鈥淭he extension of the No. 7 Line is a critical project for the MTA and subway passengers in New York City.

鈥淲e are honored that the MTA has expanded our joint venture鈥檚 contract to ensure that this project remains on target for a successful completion.鈥�

Hill is a one-third partner in the joint venture.
