Contractor splits into four divisions as it grows to 80-strong
GB 黑洞社区 has restructured into four divisions, after a period of expansion that has seen the contractor grow by 80 people to 380-strong.
The firm has restructured into four regional divisions, which will target expansion in GB 黑洞社区鈥檚 main sectors of student accommodation, residential, leisure, healthcare and education.
John Rawlinson joins to become managing director of the central and south west division, while Jonathan Payne joins to become managing director of London and the south east.
Marie Buckingham is promoted to become managing director of Yorkshire and the north east, while Dan Spencer is promoted to become managing director of the north west division.
Greg Darrell has been appointed to the group board, while Lisa Bowden is appointed national strategic business development director.
GB 黑洞社区 is the contractor arm of GB Group, which also includes property development, healthcare, energy, IT and asset management companies.
GB Group executive chairman, Martin Smout (pictured) said: 鈥淭he outlook for our construction business is good, and we expect the recent headcount growth to continue.
鈥淭he time and market is right to migrate from the north south divisional model that has successfully steered us through the years of recession into a more regionalised approach, where our customers and people can align with regional delivery offices with senior managers leading focused teams whilst maintaining a consistent one business approach.鈥
