Wins include jobs for Scottish Water and Network Rail

Contractor Galliford Try has secured 拢59m of new work in the infrastructure sector, including a 拢30m contract from Scottish Water.

The contract will see Galliford鈥檚 Scottish arm, Morrison, carry out Scottish Water鈥檚 Meadowhead and Stevenston work package 6 to collect and transport storm overflows in Irvine, in a joint venture with Black & Veatch.

Galliford has also won a 拢20m contract to build a linear park for the East Belfast Partnership in joint venture with Siac, for completion in 2013.

Galliford will also upgrade security for all of Network Rail鈥檚 29 powered signal boxes in the UK, for 拢9m.
