Firm becomes construction partner to consortium named as preferred bidder on schools programme
Galliford Try has been confirmed as a construction partner for the Equitix consortium, which has been appointed as preferred bidder on the Cambridgeshire 黑洞社区 Schools for the Future (BSF) programme.
The firm will oversee the 拢26m redevelopment of Neale-Wade community college in Cambridgeshire in March, following financial close. The second phase of the programme, which includes the development of the 拢19m Cromwell community college in Chatteris, Cambridgeshire, is anticipated to start in 2011.
Galliford Try will complete 40% of Equitix's construction work in the first phase of the BSF programme in the first instance, but could undertake additional construction work in subsequent phases which could be worth 拢600m over the next 15 years.
