Contractor鈥檚 Scottish subsidiary Morrison will build mental health facility and brain injuries unit
Galliford Try鈥檚 Scottish subsidiary Morrison Construction has reached financial close on a contract to develop the first 拢45.2m phase of the redevelopment of Royal Edinburgh Hospital.
Morrison was awarded the job by Scottish health client Hub South East Scotland on behalf of NHS Lothian.
The phase will includ construction of a specialist mental health facility on the western edge of the existing campus in Morningside, Edinburgh.
A new national brain injuries unit will also be incorporated in an adjacent building.
Galliford Try will invest 拢2.2m in the funding for the project and will also provide ongoing facilities maintenance and lifecycle management services in a contract worth approximately 拢18.5m over the 25 year concession period.
