Contractor will construct two waste-to-energy plants for Anglican Water
Galliford Try has been awarded two contracts worth 拢35m to build waste-to-energy plants for Anglian Water.
The contractor will partner with Imtech Process on the anaerobic digestion plants in Basildon and Ipswich.
The plants will generate energy from biogas as bi-products of the sludge treatment process and also produce fertilisers for recycling to land.
