Former Amec commercial director Stephen Mercier will head up the consultant's M&E division.

Consultant Franklin + Andrews has appointed Amec's former commercial director Stephen Mercier to head up its M&E division.

Mercier will be based at Franklin + Andrews's London head office, and joins at a time when Franklin + Andrews plans to continue to grow this specialist division of its business.

Regional managing director Andrew Willis said: "Stephen's challenge is to build on our ongoing success in the specialist building services discipline and support our planned development in all regions of the business."

Mercier has 25 years' experience in the construction industry, primarily in building services and facilities management.
