Eurocell鈥檚 new window frame is made from recycled PVC-U

Eurocell has launched a window frame called Ecologik made from recycled PVC-U. The frame is suitable for use with double or triple glazing units. The company says the window can achieve a U value of up to 0.8W/m2K. Ecologik also said PVC-U has a BRE Green Guide rating of A for domestic and A+ for commercial buildings making the window suitable for use on projects with a high Code for Sustainable Homes or BREEAM ratings. The recycled material has been used for the core of the product so the external surfaces look bright.
