Four schools will be rebuilt as part of the London borough鈥檚 school building programme
Costain has reached financial close on the 拢71m fourth phase of the London borough of Lewisham鈥檚 BSF programme.
Four schools will be rebuilt by Costain, three of which will be funded by a PFI consortium including Babcock International.
A new special school for pupils with autistic spectrum disorder, Prendergast Vale Collage (a new all-age school)and the rebuild of Bonus Pastor Catholic College will all be delivered under the PFI package.
Once completed Babcock will provide facilities and ICT services for the schools.
A fourth school, Pendergast Hilly College, will be rebuilt through a 拢18m design-and-build contract.
All work is due for completion by September 2013.
