Interior design firm overseen by Nick (left), while Christian focuses on developer CPC
Christian Candy has resigned as a director from interior design company Candy & Candy to oversee CPC, the Candy brother鈥檚 development firm.
A spokesperson for Candy & Candy said the exit was part of an 鈥渋nternal restructure鈥 of the company that splits the roles of the two brothers.
鈥淚t is simply part of an internal restructuring of the group of companies and simply means that Nick oversees Candy & Candy and Christian oversees CPC Group,鈥 they said.
CPC Group is owned by Christian Candy, and was behind the brothers鈥 $1bn 鈥榮uper-prime鈥 One Hyde Park project.
His departure as a director from Candy & Candy Holdings was filed at Companies House on 31 March shortly after accounts were filed that showed the company鈥檚 turnover had dropped from 拢19m to 拢8.6m in the year to 30 June last year.
The firm also recorded a pre-tax loss of 拢889,735, having lost 拢547,325 the previous year.
