Consultant reports strong first half with turnover rising 20% to 拢1.18bn
Consultant Capita Group has reported a 16% leap in profit to 拢120m for the first half of the year.
The company also recorded a rise in turnover to 拢1.18bn, up 20% from 拢985m in the same period last year.
Capita Symonds, which included Capita Architecture, had a strong turnover growth, up by 11.6% to 拢134.5m.

Paul Pindar, chief executive, said: "Capita has made strong progress in 2008. 鈥淲e remain very positive about future growth. Our markets continue to generate an encouraging volume of opportunities and our operational performance is consistently strong."
