Move sees staff decrease from 110 to 93 and Christian Candy resign as director

Nick and Christian Candy鈥檚 interior design and development company Candy & Candy Holdings lost 拢889,735 in the year to 30 June 2010, its latest accounts show.

The loss is more severe than last year, when the firm lost 拢547,325, while turnover in 2010 almost halved, slumping from 拢19m to 拢8.6m.

The staff at the firm, which is behind the 拢1bn 鈥渟uper-prime鈥 One Hyde Park apartments, decreased from 110 to 93.

Christian Candy also resigned from the company as a director, which the firm said was part of a restructure.

He will oversee CPC, the brothers鈥 development group, while Nick Candy takes charge of Candy + Candy.
