The boss of West Midlands-based social housing group Bullock has left the company after 38 years

A company statement did not give any reasons for the departure of Kevin Cox and a spokesperson said only that he had left for 鈥渂usiness reasons鈥.

The statement said: 鈥淔ollowing 38 years service with Bullock Construction, Kevin Cox has now retired as managing director, with the post taken up by Steve Daniels, Bullock is part-owned by the private equity arm of Lloyds Bank after a deal that went through in early 2008 ahead of changes to capital gains tax laws that would have hit the owners with an 18% charge on the sale proceeds.

The stake was previously owned by HBOS.
