Bristol Old Vic

Architecture practice Haworth Tompkins has submitted plans for the refurbishment of Bristol’s 1760s Old Vic theatre.

The plans include the refurbishment of the building’s old front-of-house areas and studio. The front wall of the Georgian Theatre will be exposed to the public foyer and be visible from the street.

Haworth Tompkins previously designed the refurbishment of London’s Young Vic and Royal Court theatres, completed in 2000 and 2006 respectively.
