Four year deal starts in 10 days’ time
Wates, Sir Robert McAlpine and Carillion have all chalked up spots on the Education and Skills Funding Agency’s revamped £8bn school building framework.
The trio have landed places on the highest value band – schemes worth over £12m – of the three work value bands which have been drawn up.
In all, 22 lots have been let with 33 contractors winning places on the framework.
Others claiming victories include Kier with a total of 14 lots, while Bower & Kirkland has nabbed places on a dozen lots.
Smaller firms making their debut on the frameworks include Net Zero ڶs, Stepnell, Speller Metcalfe and T&B Contractors.
The contract is due to run for four years from 27 November.
The framework is to support the delivery of the ESFA school building programmes and will also be available for schools and local authorities to use for their own projects.
