Newly formed QS firm wins 拢1.5m of work a month after it listed on AIM

Newly-formed QS practice Baqus secured a number of contracts in the education sector worth 拢1.5m to the company.

The total value of the contracts adds up to 拢220m. The projects include a 拢90m reconfiguration project of East Berkshire College's Langley Campus, a 拢60m redevelopment of Luton Sixth Form College's Bradgers Hill Road Campus, and a 拢70m contract to redevelop Havering Sixth Form College's entire estate.

After forming out of the merger of QS consultancies Boxall Sayer, Denley King and Fletcher McNeil, the company listed on the AIM on 14 December.

Baqus chief executive, Clive Sayer, said: 鈥淭his is a great start to Baqus's life as an AIM listed company. The three project tender wins were, without doubt, aided by the work that Baqus has already completed on the 拢101m redevelopment of Oaklands College, St Albans.
