West Sussex council has given Balfour Beatty a 拢55m contract extension
Balfour Beatty Living Places has been awarded a 拢55m, two year extension to continue its highways maintenance and improvement scheme works by West Sussex county council.
The firm has been West Sussex county council鈥檚 Highways Alliance Partner since July 2011.
The contract includes highways improvements such as resurfacing, safety fencing, footway, cycleway and carriageway reconstruction; highways maintenance including defect repair, grass cutting and reactive emergency response.
West Sussex county council cabinet member for highways and transport, John O鈥橞rien, said the council was looking forward to continuing working with Balfour Beatty.
Amanda Fisher, managing director of Balfour Beatty Living Places said she was 鈥渢hrilled鈥 with the contract extension.
