Hager has launched a range of type B distribution boards that meet the needs of the 17th Edition and the ºÚ¶´ÉçÇø Regulations for commercial installations

The Invicta range includes both 125 A and 250 A boards with multiple incomer choices. A large DIN rail allows installers to fit a metering kit directly into the main board next to the incomer.

This saves space and time since there is no need for an extension box.

Hager has designed in a removable gland plate into the end plate at the top and bottom of the board. This leaves a smooth return edge that allows a flush coupling between the board and the trunking with a smooth entry for cables. This avoids wasting time and expense in using Paxolin or other fillers.

There is also plenty of cabling space, and the position and design of the earth and neutral bars facilitates wiring – important when fitting RCBOs, which are longer than MCBs. The neutral bars have transparent IP2X shrouding and the screws on both the neutral and earth bars need less turns to fix the conductor.

Other installation features include a 125 A tap-off for board extensions and an additional MCB rated at up to 125 A.
