Trox UK has extended the lighting options on its range of multi-service chilled beams with the addition of a high-efficiency option

The system provides glare-free lighting with low-energy consumption while providing a lit ceiling in accordance with CIBSE Lighting Guide LG7. The satin-effect micro-prism lens optic hides the lamp and gives a soft, uniform light distribution.

The whole luminaire is designed to maximise light output, and uses a lense on both the underside and top to enclose the lamp to allow it to reach optimum thermal operating conditions. The light output is therefore unaffected by any discharge air movement from the chilled beam.

The beam is manufactured from extruded aluminium sections which interlock to provide a range of shapes.
