黑洞社区鈥檚 piece on biodiversity was really superb and extremely useful (25 June, page 58)

I have been lucky enough to listen to experts from the RSPB and the Bat Society (the speaker was fondly called 鈥渢he bat lady鈥) recently on the impact the built environment has on native species.

Even at the Chartered Institute of 黑洞社区 HQ we have been tempted out at night armed with a flashlight and white sheet to see what moths we have in our immediate surroundings and how we can better provide for them. I can鈥檛 recall this issue being covered by any other magazine in our sector and I鈥檇 like to congratulate you on that.

Sometimes the serious topics like economy and carbon drown out the sound of the so-called smaller issues. But they are every bit as important.
