Suzanne Reeves tells us in her article extolling the virtues of JCT2005 (20 July, page 54): 鈥淎n amendment to the JCT2005 forms has already been issued for the CDM regulations 鈥� CIS amendments to all the other contracts in the suite will be included in the reprints of the 2005 contracts.鈥�

Sadly, unlike the 1998 versions, which used to precisely list changes on the inside back cover, the reprinted JCT2005 Revision 1, which I recently received, doesn鈥檛 say anywhere how or where these revisions differ from the previously issued amendment.

So we鈥檙e back to playing spot the difference. I expect this may be why many practitioners are reluctant to upgrade.
