The director of business development for the UK Green ºÚ¶´ÉçÇø Council is on Twitter but has yet to tweet and prefers iPhone to Blackberry

What is your favourite website?

±õ³Ù’s of course! But honestly, we’ve recently re-vamped it and it’s a gold mine. And a close second is currently – I’m really excited about London 2012.

What is your worst digital habit?

I probably keep too many files, programmes and pages open at the same time. Sometimes it all comes crashing down or I lose things – not ideal.

iPhone/Blackberry/Android. Which side are you on?

The iphone without a doubt – I don’t know what I’d do without it. It replaced a big fat filofax about five years ago and is now my phone, contacts, diary, map, train timetable and music. I did have Blackberry at one stage but found it totally counter-intuitive in comparison.

Are you into social networking? (Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook etc)

Yes, absolutely. I’m on Facebook, Linkedin and Twitter. Whilst I don’t have a desire to say much, I think it makes so much sense in terms of sharing information and just keeping up-to-date.

Are you on Twitter? If so, who do you recommentd to follow?

I am on there but I have yet to tweet. I follow about 150 people at the moment – mostly for keeping in touch with what’s going on in industry. Current top five people I’m following right now are: @commonoffice, @DECCgovuk @ArchitectsJrnal, @futerra, @MarkCavendish

What is your favourite app?

Met Office – I love weather and this is the most accurate and reliable source of info!

What is your preferred means of communication? (eg. Email, phone, face to face, text etc)

I think there’s a time and a place for all of these. It all comes down to what you’re saying and to whom doesn’t it? I suspect we all use email a bit too much now. When it comes to building relationships then phone and face-to-face still win hands down.

What did you last buy online?

1/A box of rhubarb and custard flavoured energy gels from to get me through the triathlon season.
2/Paul Gilding’s book ‘The Great Disruption’ from Amazon.

PC or Mac?

I use a PC at work but have a MacBook at home.

Most played tunes from iTunes/Spotify?

The Lady Killer by Cee Lo Green abd Every Teardrop is a Waterfall by Coldplay.
